A large window in the kitchen overlooks a pretty planted courtyard. You can eat alfresco in this delightful spot which is flanked on one side by high church walls and feels quite private and serene. There is an outdoor table to seat 4.

A wide book lined corridor leads downstairs to the master room. This charming room has interesting alcoves and arched French doors that lead out to a tiny tiered courtyard with high church windows above. There is a king size bed, drawers and dressing table.

The shared fitted wardrobes are further along the landing. The elegant marble paneled bathroom cleverly accommodates a long bath and contemporary hand basin and wc.

The second room has two comfortable singles that push together to become a super-king. There is a chest of drawers and a large desk with shelving and wi-fi facility. A luxurious en-suite has a large walk-in shower area paneled in caramel coloured marble. There is a contemporary hand basin and wc with lots of fitted storage.

Here in the centre of Bath is an impressive vista, stretching along the wide Georgian avenue of Great Pulteney Street to the Holburne Museum. Nearby is the historic Roman Baths, Pump room and Abbey. There are many outstanding architectural treasures within a short walking distance as well as museums, galleries, shops, restaurants and bars. Visit the Thermae Spa, the Theatre Royal or the Royal Victoria Gardens with indoor tennis courts, golf and hot air balloon rides. Everything the city has to offer is nearby including a Waitrose supermarket around the corner. The Bath Spa railway and bus station are a 5 minute walk away. If you are driving there is a permit provided which allows you to park one car on any of the neighbouring streets.
