Back in June Guide2Bath joined forces with the Pig Guide to launch the inaugural Bath Good Food Awards; the city of Bath is the undisputed diamond in the South West’s foodie crown, the two guides wanted to celebrate that and to acknowledge the local chefs, restaurateurs and food producers that give Bath its fantastic foodie reputation.

 

Nominations were invited for a range of categories and soon started to flood in; the judging team have some tough decisions to make before the glittering awards ceremony which is to be held at the Guildhall on Tuesday 04 October.

All nominees will receive a banner for their website and The Pig/Guide2Bath Good Food Awards Nominee door sticker to display. Award Winners will receive a trophy to display in their establishment, a certificate, an awards winners door sticker & inclusion in the Bath Good Food Awards 2011 e-publication as well as having the right to carry a tag across their advertising on The Pig/Guide2Bath & their own promotional activities.

 

The judging team includes Fiona Beckett, celebrated wine and food writer and Guardian wine columnist; Richard Bertinet, chef, owner of Bertinet Kitchen and author; Wine entrepreneur and consultant, Angela Mount; Ali Vowles from the BBC; Lorna Knapman, head of Love Food Festival; and Silvana Tann owner of Epicurean Food.
